The
Verona Public Library Catalog is Now Online
It's now possible to search the
Library's catalog from home! You can also access your account to
see what you've checked out, find out when your items are due,
or renew your books or place a reserve. Click on
"My Account" in the left column to sign in (have your
library card ready--it will ask for your card number). If you'd just
like to look for an item, click "Search Catalog."
* Please note,
until our new system becomes more established,
items shown as
"available" may actually be checked out.
Call us to
verify that an item is on the shelf: (973) 857-4848.
Library
Events
AARP
Tax-Aide Program
will be held at the Verona Public Library Tuesday and Thursday
mornings from February through April. The service offers free
tax assistance to low and middle-income taxpayers with special
attention to those aged 60 and over.
The volunteer counselors are specially trained in
cooperation with the U.S. Internal Revenue Service (IRS) to understand
the provisions of the tax code that affect older people. Tax-Aide
volunteers can provide personal, one-on-one assistance to help complete
federal and state tax returns. People with complex tax returns will be
advised to seek professional tax assistance.

Online Resources
Reference Databases
Instead of using Google, try searching our databases for
up-to-date information on a variety of topics. Use them for

research, or for finding old newspaper articles.
These databases provide full-text
information from hundreds of magazines, newspapers, and reference
sources, including the Encyclopaedia Britannica and the Oxford
English Dictionary. Type in the number on your Verona Public
