WOODSTOCK MUSIC & ART FAIR

PRESENTATION BY

Join us for a first-hand account of 1969's Woodstock music festival!  This multi-media presentation will feature personal photographs and stories by Jim Shelley, a docent at Bethel Woods Center for the Arts.

Meet in the Ballroom of the Verona Community Center.

ADULT SUMMER READING CHALLENGE
June 20 - August 17, 2018

Read for fun & prizes!  Download a Bingo card here (or pick one up at the Library).  Read from the different categories and receive a ticket for a prize drawing for every box you complete.  If you get five in a row, we’ll give you three bonus tickets.  Challenge yourself!

Tickets may also be earned by attending our programs.  Drawings for prizes donated by local businesses will be held throughout the summer. Good luck, and happy reading!

Knit for a Cause

KNIT FOR A CAUSE:
Donate to Pine Ridge Reservation

Tuesdays ~ 11:00 am

Knit, crochet or sew clothing and accessories that will be distributed to the Pine Ridge Reservation in South Dakota.  Poverty on Pine Ridge ranks worst in the nation, and your contribution will be appreciated.  Warm someone’s day with your own creation! 

Materials will be provided, but yarn donations are welcome.  Please register to let us know that you're coming.

Meet in the Firemen's Room of the Verona Community Center (upstairs).

RELAXATION & STRESS RELEASE
with Meditation

Thursdays ~ 10:00 am

Certified Reiki Practitioner Anne Shields will lead sessions of relaxation and meditation.  Please wear comfortable clothing and bring a yoga mat/blanket.

Join the club!  Adults are invited to meet by the Boathouse in Verona Park the second Tuesday of each month at 6:00 pm for a 30-minute walk while discussing a great read. The selection for September is The Art of Hearing Heartbeats, by Jan-Philipp Sendker. Contact the Library for your copy.
