Tuesday, July 9, 2019 – 7:00 pm

The Verona Public Library is pleased to present “A Celebration of Star Trek – The Original Series.”  Paul Cirillo of AstronomyNJ will look back to the ‘60s to share some of the highlights of the classic show and its cast.  Learn some interesting facts, including the impact Star Trek has had on scientists and explorers of today.  Following the presentation, there will be an open discussion to share Star Trek memories, experiences, and memorabilia.

Paul Cirillo is a member of the New Jersey Astronomical Association, which operates the largest public observatory in New Jersey. He was also the founder of Somerset County’s 4-H Space & Astronomy Club and its leader for ten years. He has a Bachelor of Science degree from Rutgers and is also an outreach ambassador for NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory.
