Discover the art of early humans in Cave Art Creations! In this hands-on program, participants will explore how ancient people used cave walls to tell stories and express ideas. Using oil pastels, kids will create their own artwork inspired by real cave paintings, experimenting with color, texture, and simple shapes. It’s a creative journey into the past that blends history, art, and imagination! Ages 5 and up.

The library’s Safe Child Policy states that children through age 6 must have a responsible adult caregiver within sight and conversation distance at all times. Children through 4th grade must have a responsible adult caregiver inside the library at all times. Students currently in 5th grade and up may visit the library without an adult and are responsible for following the library’s Code of Conduct.
