Code Level One: Programming for Kids
Saturdays – 2:00 pm
May 3, 10, 17, 31, June 7 & 14

This pilot program is a 6-week introductory course that will expose students to the fundamentals of programming. Kids will be introduced to the concept of variables, loops, condition logic, and basic programming flow.  

Instructor Marcel Walden will lead the class.  He says, “I have been programming for over 20 years, working across many different industries. Currently working at Disney Streaming, my specialty is backend development. When I’m not coding for work, I love exploring game development as a fun hobby. I’m excited to share my passion for programming with everyone and help discover the amazing world of coding!”

Students will need to provide their own laptops and create an account in Scratch. Space is limited. Sign up today!
