Italian-American Heritage Month: An Afternoon of Music
October 13 @ 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm
Join us for a memorable performance of classical Italian music. Featuring Teresa Giardina and Rob Keiser for a voice and piano concert. Among the works will be keyboard sonatas by Domenico Scarlatti and three Italian arias by Mozart.
Mezzo-soprano Teresa Giardina earned her Bachelor’s degree in music from Hamilton College and her Master’s degree in voice from Ithaca College. While at Ithaca, she took part in two summer festivals, Lied Austria and La Festival di Musica da Camera. Teresa is an active performer as both a vocalist and an instrumentalist. An avid baseball fan, Teresa can also be seen frequently at TD Bank ballpark singing the National Anthem before Somerset Patriots games.
