Virtual College Tours

How do you visit a college in the age of social distancing? With the majority of campuses closed to in-person visits and tours, deciding on a college just got a little (or a lot) harder. However, there are some resources available to help you virtually tour college campuses until social distancing restrictions end.

CampusReel offers 15,000+ student generated videos to provide insight into life as a student at over 300 colleges and universities. This site does require you to create a free account.

CampusTours allows prospective students to take video tours, view interactive campus maps, and mobile walking tours (when you are able to visit physically again).

YouVisit allows you to tour over 600 colleges and universities right from your computer, smartphone or tablet. Filter your search by institution type, tuition, state, and enrollment size. You can tour the campuses of Columbia, Emory, Penn State, Rutgers, Syracuse, and more.

Many colleges and universities also offer virtual tours directly on their websites. Some examples include Caldwell College, Montclair State, Penn State, Rutgers, Temple and many others.

You can also connect with a college or university of interest via social media. Many schools offer a large amount of information via Facebook, YouTube, Instagram and LinkedIn.
