The librarians of Verona Public Library youth services department encourage a love of reading, exploring, and creating. We offer materials and programs for kids of all ages.
Verona Public Library offers books, resources, and programs for children of all ages and their families. From storytimes to science, musicians and bookclubs to our early literacy program, 1000 Books Before Kindergarten, the Verona Library aims to establish a love of reading and learning. The Teen Room contains the collections for Young Adult and Tween books, graphic novels, manga, and biographies and nonfiction that appeal to middle school and high school students. We also have a growing collection of books in Spanish for YA and Middle Grade readers.
The Teen Room offers two computers, free Wi-Fi, a charging station, and a comfortable seating area.
Library cards are free and available to children ages 5 and over who live in or attend school in Verona. Your parent or guardian must apply for your card for you (either online or in person), but you will be responsible for bringing your card to the library every time you’d like to borrow materials.
