Join us for a gardening workshop for kids, led by a representative from the Verona Community Garden, along with a read-aloud and activity. This program will take place outdoors at the Community Garden (weather permitting) and is geared towards children K-4. Children will leave the program with a plant they can keep or gift to a loved one.

Verona Community Garden is located behind H.B. Whitehorne Middle School adjacent to the track.  Parking is located in Municipal Lot 1 behind Chase Bank.

Verona residents only, registration required.

• Programs have limited attendance due to available space and supplies.
• The library may not always be able to accommodate unexpected arrivals.
• We ask that you make every effort to attend the program you signed up for.
• We request that you inform the library if you can no longer attend so that we can accommodate more people.
• Reminder emails will be sent in advance of the program.
• As per the library’s Safe Child Policy, children up to the age of 6 must have a caregiver within sight and conversation distance at all times. Children through grade 4 must have a responsible caregiver age 18 or older on the premises.
