
Qigong Exercise Class
Join instructor Gary McCabe for weekly Qigong exercise sessions! In-person at the Library. Please wear comfortable clothing for ease of movement.
Qigong exercises are performed with relaxation and focus. The mindful movements of Qigong gently stretch the body and sinew channels to promote balance. Proper practice also develops resilience and whole body connectivity/flexibility of the fascial/connective tissue system.
Scientific studies in China have shown that Qigong can catalyze increased blood flow right down to the capillary level. Practitioners know that consistent Qigong practice can build harmonious energy and a deep sense of centeredness.
Mr. McCabe began Taijiquan in 1980, was certified in Massage in 1981. He has trained with Masters of Yoga, Meditation, Qigong, Indigenous Healing and Internal Martial Arts since 1974.
